Early Morning Haiku
by Quiet Sea Gull, Sharmagne Leland-St. John and Deborah Russell

Sharmagne Leland-St. John
Enter the sweat lodge
Aho mitakuye oysin

Crickets chirped down in the yard
Summer symphony
Deborah Russell
his fragrance faded
a Nike ball cap - scented
with mango shampoo
arabic kofe
the canister half empty
his flight remembered
