Wahini kane lelau - is a grass widow (wah hee nee kah ney lay lau)
Wahini kane make- is a widow. (wah hee nee kah ney mah kay)
Kaikamahini- is a girl ( Ka eeka mah hee nee)
U'i means pretty (oo ee)
Aloha means many things including love ( ah low ha)

I was once a u'i kaikamahini with flowers and the sun in my hair
Then I became a wahini with flowers in my hair and aloha in my heart
Now the sun has set and I am a wahini kane make with flowers in my heart.
